The opera house giving Sydney a run for its money

We get very excited by outrageously magnificent timber installations and this one is no different...we give you, the Harbin Opera House in China’s untamed, icy north.
Its arresting exterior was designed to seem as though it was sculpted by the wind and water whilst the interior, with its rich, warm Manchurian ash and ethereal, curved lines renders visitors utterly speechless. The main theatre (pictured) was designed to evoke the interior of a musical instrument.
